It has been awhile since I have been to this site. This last year has been great. We had our beautiful daughter Ivy on Oct. 29, 2008 at 5:33p.m. She was 6lbs 8oz. Lucky for me I was only in labor for 6.5 hours. It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. She has been such a great baby. She started sleeping through the night at 2 months. God bless the thumb. Once she found her thumb and figured out she could suck on it, it has been her new best friend. She will sleep for at least an hour or two more in the morning if she is sucking her thumb.

Luck for me my mom and aunt are watching her. God Bless them. It made going back to work a lot easier.

I made these two soda tab purses recently. I hate to say it but they are not knitted, they are crocheted. This is actually the only stitch I can crochet. I love knitting so much more. I did have a fun time making the purses and it pretty much costs nothing, you just have to save the tabs. I did put a lining in them, because there can be some sharp edges. I used Red Heart Black yarn on one and Red Heart Grey on the other. I like the grey better and the bag is also larger. I ended up using 1190 tabs on the grey one.

Took a group from work on a tour of the new Busch Stadium. Not a bad seat in the place.
Kristin and I in the dugout.

Well the family went down to the farm to do some turkey hunting. Luckily for the turkeys no one got one. The weather was perfect all the days we where there. Shane had a great time throwing rocks, playing with water guns, and chasing Josie. Had to watch out for those nasty ticks though.

I finally finished my first tank top. Thank God it fits!!! I was alittle worried because the pattern was somewhat confusing. But thankfully I only had to make a few minor adjustments.
