Took a group from work on a tour of the new Busch Stadium. Not a bad seat in the place.

Well the family went down to the farm to do some turkey hunting. Luckily for the turkeys no one got one. The weather was perfect all the days we where there. Shane had a great time throwing rocks, playing with water guns, and chasing Josie. Had to watch out for those nasty ticks though.

I finally finished my first tank top. Thank God it fits!!! I was alittle worried because the pattern was somewhat confusing. But thankfully I only had to make a few minor adjustments.

Well Darren went bird hunting for the first time last weekend. He came home with all body parts still in tack so that was good. He even wore the hunter orange hat that I made him. It also had on it the hunter education patch that we received after taking the never ending 14 hour hunter ed. class the weekend before.

Got to love snow, I know Josie does. She spent alot of time running around in it. It makes it a little hard to shovel snow when she is trying to run off with the shovel though.

Cabled footies

I just knitted these up from the One Skein book. They are my first sock project and it wasn't as bad as heard making socks can be. I used Lions Brand Wool and they keep my feet nice and warm, but they do collect dog hair quite nicely.

Happy Holidays
Hope that everyone had a great holiday. To bad the snow decided to come now and not at Christmas. We had a great time at grandma's playing rob your neighbor. Of course some of the cousins had to put some nasty little surprises in the gifts. Time spent with the family is always the best.

We were one of the many unfortunate ones to lose our power last weekend from Sun. morning to Mon. evening. We braved the cold though. Got to love hot hands. Heres a tip don't wash your hair when you don't have power. It stays wet! We did have a good time playing cards and then theres always calling the police on your poor neighbor's because you think someone is breaking into their house. Oops!

One of my close friends recently told me she is expecting so I can't wait to start knitting up some cute little baby stuff.

I made this handy needle holder from a pattern I found on the Lion Brand website. I changed the pattern alittle. I casted on 20 more stitches and knitted it til it was 31" long. I used Lion Brand Wool and it felted really well.
